A big one in Winnipeg tonight, could end up being a win and get in. We’re crowing a National Champion in Tampa, and a lot of games where teams in playoff battles should take care of business against teams that are not.

    Florida Panthers @ Washington Capitals
7 is a big number, I know Florida scored 7 last time out. I don’t see that happening twice in a row. I think the Cats win easily but I don’t think the Caps will help the total much. I don’t think +125 is great value for a puck line. I think the under is an easier win. Sometimes you just have to take the juice and watch one go in to start the night.

    PICK: Under 7 (-130)

    Nashville Predators @ Winnipeg Jets

It will be a playoff atmosphere in Winnipeg tonight. Unfortunately, they have not been playing like a playoff team in the second half. They’re just over .500 since January 1, giving up more 5v5 goals than they’re scoring. Nashville’s winning at a .600 clip and playing a better 5v5 game. As long as we get a fair whistle in Manitoba, the Preds will be in a playoff spot by the end of the night.

    Pick:  Nashville Moneyline (+150)

    Quinnipiac Bobcats vs Minnesota Gophers

I was dead wrong about Quinnipiac the other day. I feel the same way going into this one. Watching Minnesota play BU, Minnesota just falls down when it gets physical and the referees will just put them on a power play all night just like they did against BU. I hate watching Minnesota play, I want them to lose. It’s going to crush me watching my Bobcats lose another heartbreaker in the National Championship getting jobbed by the refs. So let’s just cheer for goals. 6.5 seems very reasonable, especially with the likelihood of multiple empty net goals. That also brings Minnesota Puck Line into play (+135) but I have a heart and can’t bring myself to do that, also a bit gun shy after Michigan blew it the other night.

    Pick:  Over 6.5 (-105)

    Heavy Favorite Parlay (+262):

7:00 pm New York Rangers Moneyline (-300)

7:00 pm Toronto Maple Leafs Moneyline (-375)

7:30 pm New York Islanders Moneyline (-275)

10:00 pm Calgary Flames Moneyline (-175)
