South Region Matchup Summary Round of 32

    Second Round – Saturday

    #13 Furman (28-7) vs #5 San Diego State (26-7)
    Date: Saturday, March 18
    Time:12:10 p.m. ET
Location: Amway Center in Orlando, FL
    TV: CBS
    Spread: San Diego State -5.5
    Total: 137.5
Matchup Notes: Never betting on UVA again, just had to get that off my chest. Furman played one of the best final 15 seconds in an opening game and it was all at the right time. Furman needs to come out hitting the three ball like they were against UVA, I expect SDSU to control this game much better than they were able to in their opening round. SDSU is going to need to put up more than 63 if they want to win this one.

    #15 Princeton (27-8) vs #7 Missouri (25-9)
    Date: Saturday, March 18
    Time:6:10 p.m. ET
Location: Golden1 Center in Sacramento, CA
    TV: TNT
    Spread: Missouri -6.5
    Total: 148.5
Matchup Notes: Princeton is coming into this game after a wild upset over Arizona (who looked so bad). As great as that win was and as hot as Princeton has been playing 5-0ATS in their last 5 games, Missouri looks to bounce back offensively today. We have seen Missouri put up big points this year, they also need to control their turnovers in this one if they want to move onto the Sweet16. If you can still get the over at 148.5, grab it!

    #8 Maryland (22-12) vs #1 Alabama (30-5)
    Date: Saturday, March 18
    Time: 9:40p.m. ET
Location: Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL
    TV: TBS
    Spread: Alabama -9
    Total: 144
Matchup Notes: After Thursday’s game Alabama still is looking like the best option to win the NCAA tournament after cruising to a victory. Today, Miller is going to need to have a much better performance and he had 0 points in Alabama’s victory. Maryland can hang in there offensively, outside of ALA with the points grab the over in this one too!

    Second Round – Sunday

    #6 Creighton (28-7) vs. #3 Baylor (23-10)
    Date: Sunday, March 19
    Time: 7:10 p.m. ET
Location: Ball Arena in Denver, CO
    TV: TBS
    Spread: Baylor – 1.5
    Total: 145
