Happy New Year everyone! I’m going to have to ease back into this. I’ve struggled mightly picking winners this year, mainly because it’s more fun to pick underdogs, but none the less I’ve been wrong picking winners far too frequently. My Over Under Picks have been pretty solid this year (13-7, +4.5 units, 22.5% ROI), so I’m starting 2023 with one of my strengths. I’m not going to over analyze the games for you below. Basically, I’m taking a recent sample size of the two teams, and coming up with an expected goals total, looking at line-ups, starting goalies and trends and making a judgement based on that.
