Game Preview:
The New England Patriots lost in devastating fashion last week to the Raiders surrendering 14-points in the final 32 seconds in one of the wildest finishes in the NFL you’ll ever see. You know that entire team can’t wait to bury that one and move forward; and there’s no better coach in NFL history to help with that than Bill Belichick.
The Bengals have ripped off 6-straight wins, already clinching a playoff birth still with their eyes set on the AFC North title sitting a game ahead of the Ravens. Last week they went into halftime down 17-3 to the Bucs but responded with 31 second half points led by Joe Burrow’s 4 passing TDs.
The Patriots postseason hopes effectively rest on the outcome of this one — they’re on the outside looking in and certainly don’t want to join the Jets in last place in the AFC East with a loss today. You’d have a hard time finding many backing the Patriots outright today, but this is just one of those football feelings; admittedly Belichick doesn’t have much to work with these days, but these aren’t typically games he loses, so I feel great about New England with the points here.
PICK: NE +3
Philadelphia Eagles (13-1) @ Dallas Cowboys (10-4)

Time 4:25pm EST
Favorite: DAL -4.5
Total: 47.5
Key Injury Watch:
PHI: OUT – (QB) Jalen Hurts
DAL: QUESTIONABLE – (DB) Trevon Diggs, (LB) Leighton Vander Esch
Game Preview:
The Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in the NFL by record (13-1) but find themselves as underdogs for the first time this season without the services of Jalen Hurts — but they still have Gardner Minshew!! Seriously though he’s actually one of the most serviceable backup QBs in the entire league — this Eagles team can win with him backed by their elite defense.
This spread is just way too big for me to assume the Eagles plan on taking a game off against their bitter division rivals just because Hurts is out — instead, winning today takes the pressure off them over the next couple weeks rather than assuming they can lose today and still earn the top seed in the playoffs. I see a defensive battle between a pair of units that are #1 and #2 in the NFL in sacks (PHI 55 / DAL 49). That means a close game and the under, how fun!
PICK: PHI +4.5 & Under 47.5
Las Vegas Raiders (6-8) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (6-8)

Time 8:15pm EST
Favorite: PIT -1.5
Total: 38.5
Key Injury Watch:
PHI: OUT – (QB) Jalen Hurts
DAL: QUESTIONABLE – (DB) Trevon Diggs, (LB) Leighton Vander Esch
Game Preview:
Who’s up for some small-talk? I mean, the weather in this one, am I right?! The forecast calls for “feels like -3 degrees” at Heinz Field tonight (fun fact it’s actually called Acrisure Stadium now but yeah that doesn’t work yet). The Raiders have had some cushy games recently, a pair at home in the dome and one on the road in Los Angeles. In our best bets above we talked about their crazy win against the Patriots that shouldn’t have happened, so maybe that’s why this line is so narrow.
Pittsburgh has played really solid team football over the past 6 games with a 4-2 record including a narrow 2-point loss to the Ravens and 7-point loss to the Bengals, both strong divisional and playoff teams. This should no doubt be a close game as the Raiders have played respectable football lately after their horrendous 2-7 start to the season, but again they really were handled at home against the Patriots last week so I just don’t see them traveling to Pittsburgh and winning outright.
PICK: PIT -1.5
