    12:00 PM EST (ESPN2) – #14 Indiana (8-2) @ #8 Kansas (9-1)

Coming off a double-digit loss at home to Arizona last Saturday, the Hoosiers travel to Lawrence to take on the Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse. Both teams are rested & ready to go – probably eager to tip things off today.

Hoosiers have dropped two of their last 4, while Kansas has rolled all 3 opponents since dropping their only game of the season to Tennessee. The Jayhawks are one of the best teams in the country. While Indiana is no joke, there is a slight edge in talent and coaching here for Kansas.

Jalen Wilson will be the best player on the floor, and he has an excellent matchup with Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis. I think the home court advantage in a big time game is too much to lean any other way. Jayhawks cover with a runaway in the final minutes.

    PICK: Kansas -5.5 (-110)

    12:00 PM EST (BTN) – Wake Forest (8-3) @ Rutgers (6-4)

Somebody definitely made a mistake here..

You’re probably wondering with all the big powerhouse matchups today why I’m writing about Wake & Rutgers.. well, because it’s the best bet on the board.

Rutgers is *probably* the better team, and will *probably* win. But 10 points is absurd. Wake Forest has the best player on the floor in Tyree Appleby. The Senior guard is averaging over 18 points and 5 assists on 51% shooting. Rutgers has dropped 3 of their last 4. Although some good opponents, 10 points is still just too much.

Wake Forest also won outright on the road against a tough Wisconsin team. Possibly my favorite bet of the day.

    PICK: WAKE FOREST +10 (-110)

    1:00 PM EST (CBS) – #4 Alabama (9-1) @ #15 Gonzaga (8-3)

If you would have foreshadowed this game to me 2 months ago, I would have imagined the Zags being close to double digit favorites.

Gonzaga is playing as the home team, but this is a neutral site…… held in Birmingham, AL. Interesting.

Alabama has been stellar this season while Gonzaga has struggled compared to expectations. Drew Timme has been as expected.. averaging 20 ppg shooting over 60% from the field. Alabama big man Charles Bediako will be tasked with Timme this afternoon, and there is not too many guys built better for that task.

Alabama is so deep & plays with such a fast pace that I think the Bulldogs will struggle to keep up. Can see Bama getting out to an early lead here. Crimson Tide takes care of business.

    PICK: ALABAMA -1 (-110)

    2:00 PM EST (ESPN2)#5 Houston (10-1) @ #2 Virginia (8-0)

In arguably the best game of today’s loaded slate, Kelvin Sampson’s Cougars travel to Charlottesville, VA to take on the undefeated Virginia Cavaliers.

Virginia has some impressive wins in their hot start, but none would be more impressive than knocking off this Houston team. Houston is really good… despite dropping their last game to Alabama, I think this is the best all around team in the country as of right now.

Virginia is going to rely on its defense and home court advantage but I just don’t see them holding off Houston today. Marcus Sasser is an elite scorer and I think he’ll get to his spots and score with ease today. Houston covers and ends Virginia’s undefeated season.

    PICK: HOUSTON -2.5 (-110)
