    Carolina Hurricanes @ Boston Bruins
Bruins Black Friday Matinee is the closest thing to a lock the gambling gods will ever give you. 80% of the fans have been drunk since Wednesday night, the rest are probably kids going to one of their first games and creating formative memories. You add up those two data points, include the fact the Bruins are 17-3, and 11-0 at home, plus wearing the reverse retros. You get the B’s by a mile, goals left and right. Easy money.
    PICK: BOS -1.5 (+165) & Over 6 (+100)

    Montreal Canadiens @ Chicago Blackhawks
Chicago’s on a 5 game skid. Montreal’s 5-4-1 in their last 10. Montreal is better offensively than Chicago, their defensive numbers are very similar. Chicago just isn’t that good. Montreal has been more consistent. There’s that old addage, the standings at American Thanksgiving are a good indicator of who will make the playoffs. The Habs are within striking distance. The Hawks aren’t quite out of it, but they have a lot more work to do. Habs and the value all day.
    PICK: MTL ML (+100)

    Pittsburgh Penguins @ Philadelphia Flyers
After an incredibly slow start, Pittsburgh seems to have turned a corner and started to figure it out. Meanwhile Philly has hit a rough patch and things aren’t quite clicking. With Tortella behind the bench and this being a rivalry game at home, the message is going to come out hard, play physical and run Pitt out of the building. I see Philly taking a few early penalties, and with the 6th worst PK in the league, Pitt gets an early lead and pulls away. Two teams, that are on different paths right now. I’m taking the Pens and the puck line.
    PICK: PIT -1.5 (+110)
