    Minnesota Timberwolves (6-8) @ Orlando Magic (4-10)
MIN -6.5 – A healthy Timberwolves team travels to Orlando to face off against the Magic….the Paulo Banchero(less) Magic. Banchero was ruled out for Wednesday night’s game with an ankle injury.

That could pretty much sum up the post, but I’ll go a bit further. The Magic are 4-10 this year with Banchero playing in 11 of those games. He’s missed the last 3 games (tonight will be his 4th) due to injury and Orlando is surprisingly 2-1 without their rookie phenom.

I’ll go even further. Those two wins came against the Mavericks and the Suns. How? I’m not sure.

The public is on Minnesota, and Orlando seems to be playing well without Paulo. All signs point to Orlando. Don’t fall for it. Minnesota is clearly expressing the necessity for urgency to turn their season around. After being one of the most improved teams in the league last season and then inquiring Rudy Gobert in the off-season, Minnesota has under performed. They’re the better team tonight & should cover with ease on the road.

    PICK: MIN -6.5

Oklahoma City Thunder (6-8) @ Washington Wizards (8-6)
WAS -5 – Oklahoma City travels to DC to take on the red hot Wizards who have won 4 in a row. OKC will be without Tre Mann and Darius Bazley while Washington has no players on tonight’s injury report.

Washington has developed a nice “Big 3” this year. With the addition of Kristaps Porzingis (20.5 ppg), and Kyle Kuzma last season (18.4 ppg), Bradley Beal has found himself some help and the Wizards look very good. After a slow start, they’re winners of 4 straight and I don’t expect them to slow down tonight.

While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been phenomenal for the Thunder all year long (31.5 ppg & 5.8 apg), he doesn’t have much help. OKC has clearly been & still is in rebuilding mode. Even the slightest bit of an off night from Shae & the Thunder will have no chance of covering 5 points on the road.

    PICK: WAS -5

    Cleveland Cavaliers (8-5) @ Milwaukee Bucks (10-3)
MIL -3.5 – The “hype party” of adding Donovan Mitchell has seemed to slow down, as the Cavs have dropped 4 straight. They’ve dealt with some injuries though, and they’ll still be a team to be taken very seriously in the Eastern Conference down the stretch.

Cleveland will be without Jarrett Allen tonight. And even though Jrue Holiday is questionable for the Bucks, not having Allen is costly. Losing Allen on any giving night isn’t a good thing, but it’s devastating when Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the opposing team.

I would have probably jumped at this line with a healthy Jarrett Allen. But without Allen, 3.5 is too good of a number to pass up on Milwaukee here. Cleveland will scrap and keep it close, but Giannis should get what he wants tonight.

    PICK: MIL -3.5

Golden State Warriors (6-8) @ Phoenix Suns (8-5)
GSW -1 – Remember the last time these teams squared off? Klay Thompson was ejected for his excessive trash talk and taunting of Devin Booker. After the game, Booker said Thompson just kept repeating “I got 4 rings”.

My preseason prediction was that the Warriors would soon make that 5 rings, and despite the slow start I’m still rocking with that take. The Warriors got blown out in that game in which Klay was ejected. The Warriors are known for keeping receipts and “holding grudges” in a sense, and I expect them to treat this like a playoff game.

The Suns have been solid but have had some struggles lately with the injury to Chris Paul. CP3 is questionable to return to action tonight. For the Warriors to win, it’d be nice if Paul didn’t suit up just yet. However, I like the number even with CP3 playing. This is going to be a fun one with plenty of talk. Can’t wait.

    PICK: GSW -1
