The Week 8 addition of Christian McCaffrey has clearly been a major boost for the Niners, adding a new dimension to an offense that was already full of versatile, gamebreaking players like Deebo Samuel and George Kittle.
Vegas Oddsmakers are clearly acknowledging San Francisco’s firepower with this big line, but it seems a little larger than it should be.
Justin Herbert is as elite of an arm talent as any in the NFL and is more than capable of leaning on a supporting cast of Austin Ekeler, Josh Palmer and Gerald Everett to match the scoring ability of the Niners.
This matchup has true playoff vibes to it with tons of talent on the field across the board for both teams.
I’m more confident in the over prediction here than the pick on the spread, but I really think this Chargers squad shows up and keeps it very competitive in an inter-state rivalry game on Sunday Night.
