Last Week’s Record: 2-5 – Overall Record: 25-30
After a week of dominance, I fell back to a dismal 2-5 day last week. I felt very confident in all the picks, but no matter how much you think you know, you can’t predict what is going to happen on the field (or off the field hours before kickoff). Virginia’s offense found new life they did not know they had, Texas A&M has a flu outbreak, California shows up a week later then I predicted, but I guess that’s why they call it gambling. Like any good shooter though, those are behind me, and I am going to keep firing away. The climb to above .500 begins now.
12:00 PM EST (ACCN) – Pittsburgh (5-4) @ Virginia (3-6)
SPREAD: Pittsburgh -6
Virginia found some offense last week, but I don’t see a lot of it from either team this week. This game could come down to a field a goal.
PICK: Virginia +6
12:00 PM EST (SECN) – Vanderbilt (3-6) @ #24 Kentucky (6-3)
SPREAD: Kentucky -17.5
I am not a believer in Will Levis and I do not think I am alone on that. But there is no better matchup for him to improve his draft stock than the Commodores.
PICK: Kentucky -17.5
3:30 PM EST (FOX) – Maryland (6-3) @ #14 Penn State (7-2)
SPREAD: Penn State -10.5
Maryland might as well start preparing for Rutgers and their bowl game as these next two weeks are going to be pure hell on the gridiron.
PICK: Penn State -10.5
8:00 PM EST (ACCN) – #23 Florida State (6-3) @ Syracuse (6-3)
SPREAD: Florida State -7
The Syracuse defense good. The Syracuse offense bad. Favorite of the day.
PICK: Under 51
