7:00 PM EST (ESPN+) – Washington State (1-0) @ Boise State (0-1)
SPREAD: Washington State -2
TOTAL: 132.5
Mouhamed Gueye, a 6-foot-11 NBA hopeful, had 18 points and 13 rebounds over Texas State. Adrame Diongue (ranked 43rd in the 2022 recruiting class) is another big body to help Washington State protect the paint in the race for the Pac-12 title. Boise State had a disappointing loss to South Dakota State where senior guard Max Rice put up 21 points with 4 threes and 5 steals. Look for WSU to gobble up missed shots and put in second-chance points.
PICK: Washington State -2

7:00 PM EST (ESPN+) – Morgan State (1-1) @ VCU (1-0)
SPREAD: VCU -20.5
TOTAL: 151
Morgan State is coming off a blowout win where they put up 130 points while shooting 58.8 from the 3-point line. This will no doubt be a tougher contest against VCU, who put up 48 first half points in their matchup this week against Manhattan. I like VCU beating the spread but not chancing it and going with the Over.
PICK: Over 151

7:00 PM EST (ESPN+) – Georgia Tech (1-0) @ Georgia State (1-0)
SPREAD: Georgia Tech -1
TOTAL: 136
Georgia Tech finished last season at 14th in the ACC, with an underwhelming record of 12-20 (ACC 5-15). Georgia Tech struggled earlier this week in the first half against a way overmatched Clayton State but ended up pulling off a blowout in the second half. Georgia State made a great run last year ending the regular season at 3rd in the Sunbelt, and eventually winning the conference tournament. In their latest matchup the Panthers put up 45 points in the second half and pulled away with an easy win against Coastal Geogia. I think they have a tough matchup here with Georgia Tech but with leadership from Xavier transfer, Dwon Odom, they pull off a straight home win to get on the map early.
PICK: Georgia State ML
