Seattle Seahawks (5-3) @ Arizona Cardinals (3-5)
Injury Watch (Impact Players)
Questionable: S Budda Baker (ARI), RB James Conner (ARI)
Out: WR Marquise Goodwin (SEA), DE Darrell Taylor (SEA)
Game Preview: The NFC West leading Seattle Seahawks travel to Glendale to take on the Arizona Cardinals for the 2nd time this season — the Seahawks defeated the Cardinals 19-9 in Seattle with WR DeAndre Hopkins still serving his 6-game suspension. What a return it’s been for D-Hop with back to back games with 10 or more receptions and 100+ yards. These teams are statistically similar on both sides of the ball (Offense: SEA 12th / ARI 14th — Defense: SEA 27th / ARI 22nd). D-Hop is a proven game changer; in both games he’s played the Cards have put up 68 points. The Hawks have nearly matched that output with 64 points in their last 2 games. I like Arizona to take care of Seattle at home here (-1.5) along with the over 48.5.
PICKS: ARI -1.5 & Over 48.5
Los Angeles Rams (3-4) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)
Injury Watch (Impact Players)
Questionable: WR Van Jefferson (LAR), CB Carlton Davis III (TB)
Out: WR Russell Gage (TB), TE Cameron Brate (TB), Antoine Winfield Jr. (TB)
Game Preview: The Week 9 condition of these struggling teams is obviously shocking considering they last met in the NFC Divisional Playoffs where Tom Brady led a furious late rally down 27-3 to tie the game 27-27 with the Rams ultimately prevailing on a game winning field goal. Despite their sluggish starts, both teams are facing must win territory to stay competitive in their divisions for a shot to make the playoffs. Betting on the Bucs has obviously been bad news this year, but same with the Rams. I can’t possibly bet on Tom Brady losing 4-straight games — so let’s back the Bucs -3 with the over 42.5. Also note that Brady needs just 164 yards passing to reach 100,000 including the postseason.
PICKS: TB -3 & Over 42.5
