    Week 9 Upside QBs

UPSIDE PLAY OF THE WEEK: Justin Herbert (@ATL) – Herbert’s slow start is widely attributed to injuries. Keenan Allen hasn’t been available all season, and now Mike Williams is expected to miss at least a month. Herbert dealt with a rib injury of his own in Week 2, that seemed to linger more than he’d publicly admit. Coming out of the bye week, Herbert draws an ideal matchup with the Falcons, who are allowing an NFL-worst 307 passing yards per game. He’s primed for a huge day in Atlanta, despite the missing pieces in the WR room.

    More Upside Plays:
    Joe Burrow (vs CAR)
    Justin Fields (vs MIA)
    Geno Smith (@ARI)
    Taylor Heinicke (vs MIN)

    Week 9 Upside RBs

UPSIDE PLAY OF THE WEEK: Alvin Kamara (vs BAL) – Kamara erupted for 42.8 PPR points against the Raiders last week, chipping in a hat trick of scores for the Saints. The former Tennessee Volunteers standout is obviously going to be started in your lineups whenever active, but this is a particularly juicy matchup against the Ravens. I was surprised to see him be this productive with Andy Dalton at QB, but he dominated check downs, finishing with 9 catches for 96 yards in Week 8. Without Mark Ingram eating into his touches, Alvin could be the RB1 again this week.

    More Upside Plays:
    Rhamondre Stevenson (vs IND)
    Deon Jackson (vs NE)
    Raheem Mostert (@CHI)
    Antonio Gibson (vs MIN)
    Kenyan Drake (@NO)

    Week 9 Upside WRs

UPSIDE PLAY OF THE WEEK: DeAndre Hopkins (vs SEA) – Hopkins has been nothing short of a monster in the 2 weeks since returning from his PED suspension. He’s dominated the target share for the Cardinals, amassing 22 grabs and 262 receiving yards. I’m not expecting his production to plateau quite yet, with a gettable home matchup against the Seahawks on tap. Averaging 14 targets per game, Hopkins is bound for another massive fantasy day in Arizona.

    More Upside Plays:
    Tee Higgins (vs CAR)
    Chris Olave (vs BAL)
    Terry McLaurin (vs MIN)
    Josh Palmer (@ATL)
    Devin Duvernay (@NO)
    Garrett Wilson (vs BUF)

    Week 9 Upside TEs

UPSIDE PLAY OF THE WEEK: Gerald Everett (@ATL) – Everett has been a major beneficiary of all of the injuries around him, as he’s worked to carve out a role in his first year in the Chargers’ system. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are out again this week, making Everett arguably the top target in the passing game. Backup TE Donald Parham was just placed on IR, paving the way for as many snaps as Everett can handle. Fresh off the bye week, Everett is in a potential smash spot against the Falcons and will be heavily targeted all over the field once again.

    More Upside Plays:
    Robert Tonyan (@DET)
    Isaiah Likely (@NO)
    Evan Engram (vs LV)
    Tyler Conklin (vs BUF)
