Game Preview:
Happy Halloween from WagerEdge!
The Dawg Pound will be dressed to impress on this mild October night in Cleveland, as they seek to rally their troops to avoid a 5-game skid.
It will be an uphill battle for the Browns defense to tame a potent Bengals offense, that will be without gamebreaking talent Ja’Marr Chase.
Joe Burrow has been just short of perfect in his past 2 outings, tallying 781 passing yards and 6 TDs, while forcing zero turnovers.
The Browns will also be missing a key contributor on offense in David Njoku, who has established himself as the 2nd option in the passing game. Cleveland knows they will have to play solid defense and run the ball effectively to keep pace with this high-octane Cincinnati offense. Getting into a shootout will likely not end well for the Browns.
I’m projecting a physical divisional matchup with the defenses energized early, leading to a lower scoring outcome than expected. This spread started bigger but has come down to 3, and I now think there’s great value on the Bengals, to handle business on the road in a hostile environment.
