New York Jets (4-2) @ Denver Broncos (2-4)
Injury Watch (Impact Players)
Out: DE Jermaine Johnson (NYJ), WR Elijah Moore (NYJ), QB Russell Wilson (DEN)
Game Preview: Russell Wilson was ruled out on Saturday after suffering a hamstring injury last week. That news flipped this line in the Jets favor and dropped the game total by 2 points. Brett Rypien out of Boise State will make his 2nd career NFL start in Wilson’s place. The Broncos have looked horrible all season even with Russell Wilson healthy, losing 3-straight — and they’ve only 20+ points once in their 6-games played. This game is just ugly, and probably won’t be featured on RedZone much, so either fade it completely or take the Jets and the under.
PICKS: NYJ -1.5 & u36.5
Houston Texans (1-3-1) @ Las Vegas Raiders (1-4)
Injury Watch (Impact Players)
Out: DE Jonathan Greenard (HOU), TE Darren Waller (LV)
Questionable: WR Hunter Renfrow (LV), WR Mack Hollins (LV)
Game Preview: Stud TE Darren Waller was unable to get healthy through the Raiders bye week and will miss his 2nd game with a hamstring injury as the preseason Super Bowl sleeper Raiders look to stop the bleeding from an incredibly disappointing 1-4 start. This just HAS to be a “get right” game for Vegas, doesn’t it? Before their by week they lost a battle against the Chiefs 30-29 and actually went into halftime up 20-10 on the road at Arrowhead. Tough loss there no doubt, but with an extra week to prepare for the 1-3-1 Texans, this should be a smash spot for the Raiders. It’s one game at a time for Vegas, but we could actually be looking at a winning team by Thanksgiving with these upcoming matchups: vsHOU/@NO/@JAX/vsIND/@DEN. Look for veteran QB Derek Carr and WR Davante Adams to respond in a big way here.

Seattle Seahawks (3-3) @ Los Angeles Chargers (4-2)
Injury Watch (Impact Players)
Out: PK Dustin Hopkins (LAC), WR Joshua Palmer (LAC)
Questionable: WR Tyler Lockett (SEA), WR Keenan Allen (LAC)
Game Preview: A pair of fantasy relevant WRs are game-time decisions today with hamstring injuries — both are likely to play but will see how they feel during warmups. The focus in this matchup though is on the Chargers defense, they were horrible through the first 5 games but showed a glimmer of hope against Denver last week and get to stay at home against Geno Smith and the Seahawks this week. On paper these are unexpedetly even matched teams: Points Per Game (24.3 SEA / 23.5 LAC), Points Allowed Per Game (27.2 SEA / 25.3 LAC), Total Yards (374.7 / 380.8 LAC). It’s the Chargers who have won 3-straight though with a better QB and overall weapons. I look for them to continue their streak along with some better defensive play.
PICKS: LAC -5 & u50.5
Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) @ San Francisco 49ers (3-3)
Injury Watch (Impact Players)
Out: CB Rashad Fenton (KC), CB Jason Verrett (SF)
Questionable: G Joe Thuney (KC), S Talanoa Hufanga (SF)
Game Preview: Woah! In one of the biggest mid-season trades we’ll ever see, the 49ers acquired RB Christian McCaffrey this week and is likely to play. I can only imagine how energized that locker-room is, but on the other side is Patrick Mahomes coming off his first loss as a home underdog in his 6-year career. Meanwhile the 49ers got a welcomed distraction with their CMC acquisition, burying their embarrassing 28-14 loss against the Falcons. Both teams are well coached coming off a loss, but maybe adding CMC took some focus off the 49ers who might try to get him involved and comfortable too much early. Does Mahomes lose back-to-back games? Maybe — but I just can’t bet on that.
PICKS: KC -1.5 & o48.5
