Season Record: 25-17-4 +8.28u
12:00 PM EST (ABC) – Texas (-8.5) @ Oklahoma – O/U 65
Best Bet: OKLAHOMA +8.5
The Sooners are yet to establish an identity since the departure of Lincoln Riley & Texas has taken a step back since their Week 2 showdown with Alabama. Against a Freshman QB, Oklahoma getting 8.5 points is too much for this Red River Showdown. Sooners cover.
12:00 PM EST (FS1) – #17 TCU (-7) @ #19 Kansas – O/U 69
Best Bet: UNDER 69
Not a single person was anticipating writing a “#19” next to the Jayhawks anytime soon, but certainly not this season. Kansas has been a pleasant surprise, but they welcome a very stingy TCU defense who only allowed 24 points to Oklahoma last week. I think the total is a bit overestimated here. Let’s not forget Kansas beat ISU 14-11 a week ago.
12:00 PM EST (ESPN) – Tennessee (-3) @ LSU – O/U 64.5
Best Bet: OVER 64.5
Hendon Hooker & Jayden Daniels are sure to provide some fireworks to kick-off our Saturday. Both guys rank inside the Top 20 in the FBS for QBR, and are yet to throw an interception this season. This game has 70+ written all over it.
12:00 PM EST (ACCN) – Louisville (-2.5) @ Virginia – O/U 50.5
Best Bet: Louisville -2.5
It looks at first glance like a hard game to pick… don’t overthink it. Malik Cunningham will be the best player on the field by a decent margin for 4 quarters. He has run for over 100 yards in 3 of Louisville’s 5 games this season – looking to add a 4th. The public on Louisville scares me, but it’s my favorite play of the day.
3:30 PM EST (CBS) – Auburn (+28.5) @ #2 Georgia – O/U 49
Best Bet: OVER 49
This is strictly a value play in terms of Georgia being capable of covering this over themselves. Struggling in their last two outings, Kirby Smart will have Georgia ready to go against rival Auburn. If Auburn can put two scores on the board, Bulldogs should be able to take care of the rest.
3:30 PM EST (FOX) – #11 Utah (-3) @ #18 UCLA – O/U 64.5
Best Bet: UCLA +3.5
This is as even as a match up can get during Week 6 of a CFB season. The value is on UCLA +3.5 at home. Senior QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson has been excellent this season & should put up numbers against this Utah defense. Utah hasn’t been battle tested since losing to Florida in Week 1. They’ll be prepared, but I think they’ll be outmatched.
4:00 PM (ESPN2) – North Carolina (+3.5) @ Miami (FL) – O/U 66
Best Bet: North Carolina +3.5
Miami hasn’t been far off atrocious this year. North Carolina hasn’t been spectacular – but they’ve been solid. Sitting at 4-1, they’ve been battle tested, with their only loss coming to Notre Dame. 3.5 is the magic number in football. Drake Maye & co. should be in a good position to handle business at Hard Rock Stadium.
7:30 PM (NBC) – #16 BYU (+4) @ Notre Dame – O/U 51
Best Bet: BYU +4
While Notre Dame has struggled this year, I haven’t written them off. I picked them 2 weeks ago against North Carolina but BYU is a different tier of football. I wouldn’t be surprised with a low scoring game, which helps our cause with BYU to cover.
