    Game Analysis & Picks
The Chargers are coming off of a brutal 38-10 loss against the Jaguars at home and are looking for a big win to show they’re not a team that will just get run over and take it. The Houston Texans are the perfect team to face if you’re looking to lay a beating on someone. The Texans are 0-2-1 putting up an average of 16 pts/g after facing some less challenging teams so far, in my opinion.

LA has gone up against the injury bug early this season with the likes of their WR1 Keenan Allen (hamstring), new addition at corner JC Jackson (ankle), and more recently Joey Bosa (groin) and Justin Herbert (ribs). Herbert played through his pain last week which is most likely the reason why their offensive productive wasn’t at the typical level we’re used to seeing. This week he practiced fully and is on a revenge tour to show why he’s arguably a Top 3 QB. After last weeks conservative play calling due to being banged up, I think the Chargers offense will take a more aggressive approach with Herbert to work the ball downfield.

I’m expecting Austin Ekeler to step up big in this game after a slow start in the first 3 weeks going up against a Texans defense who has let up the most rushing yards on the season with 607 yards. His anytime TD line is -182 which shows you that Vegas KNOWS ya boy is due. Defensively, JC Jackson is active this week giving the three-headed monster of Jackson, Asante Samuel Jr. and Derwin James to to showcase their ball-hawking, hard-nosed styles of play.

With all that said, I see the Chargers taking command early and often abusing the Texans defense. Let’s take the Chargers (-5.5) and the Over (45) for a statement game to set the tone for the rest of their season.

    Bonus Prop
    – Austin Ekeler 1st TD scorer (+390) & Over 99.5 Rushing and Receiving yards (-115)
    – Justin Herbert Over 269.5 Passing yards (-114)
    – Asante Samuel Interception (+520)
