Last Week’s Record: 1-5
Overall Record: 10-7
12:00 PM EST (ESPN2) – Purdue (2-2) @ #21 Minnesota (4-0)
SPREAD: Minnesota -12
Minnesota is a machine as PJ Fleck has the boat rowing again. I think this line should be at least two touchdowns so I hope I am not going to look like a schmuck here. Gophers in a rout.
My Play: Minnesota -12
3:30 PM EST (FOX) – #9 Oklahoma St (3-0) @ #16 Baylor (3-1)
SPREAD: Baylor -2.5
Baylor losing to BYU could have been the best thing ever. Keep giving us these beautiful lines and the Bears will keep printing money going forward.
My Play: Baylor -2.5
3:30 PM EST (BTN) – Michigan State (2-2) @ Maryland (3-1)
SPREAD: Maryland -7.5
I was at this matchup last year and froze my ass off while watching the under be an absolute miserable play. There was a flea flicker touchdown within the first two minutes. Kenneth Walker rushed for like 500 yards. And my two drunk friends would not stop doing Gus Johnson impressions. It was fucking miserable. We left a little before the fourth began, almost died in the Uber ride home, but miraculously pushed after only 6 fourth quarter points and a failed two point conversion. I comfortably watched the end from the couch of my AirBnB and ate a whole Cottage Inn Pizza. With all of that being said, I am on the over this year.
My Play: Over 58.5
4:00 PM EST (SECN) – #17 Texas A&M (3-1) @ Mississippi St (3-1)
SPREAD: Mississippi St -4
This game will not be good for the heart. So proceed with caution as no matter what you play, I think it comes down to the final possessions.
5:30 PM EST (PAC12) – California (3-1) @ Washington St (3-1)
SPREAD: Washington St -4
I wanted to play a dog line this week so I went searching. To the average eye, you see a Washington State team who beat a (at the time) ranked Wisconsin team, lost by 3 (but really was more) to a ranked Oregon team. That average eye is saying “-4 against CALIFORNIA?!? What a steal!” I used to be that average eye, but now I see right through it. California outright.
My Play: California ML +159
7:30 PM EST (FS1) – West Virginia (2-2) @ Texas (2-2)
SPREAD: Texas -9
Huge game for both teams and defense will tighten up late, I just hope it is not too late. I am playing this very confidently and might be teasing West Virginia spread with the under as well come 7:30.
My Play: Under 62
