Chicago has been awful this month and frankly they are ready for the off-season. The White Sox have now dropped 7 games in a row, and have lost 10 straight games when scoring fewer then 3 runs. Regardless of the pitching matchup and some of the Minnesota’s problems I still have to roll with the Twins here especially at home. Take Minnesota on the money line (-112).
St. Louis Cardinals (Quintana) @ Milwaukee Brewers (Woodruff)
STL ML (+125) – The Brewers and Cardinals meet up Wednesday and will showcase a very watch worthy pitching matchup between Jose Quintana and Brandon Woodruff. Woodruff is 12-4 on the season with an ERA sitting at 3.02, while Quintana is 9-4 with an ERA at 2.95. I love the Cardinals here though on the road. Quintana has struggled on the road this season, however has been dominate as of late allowing only 2 earned runs in 25 innings of work. I expect the lefty to get it done again for the Cardinals who just clinched their ticket to the playoffs. Take St. Louis on the money line (+125).
