    12:00 PM EST (FS1) – Texas State @ Baylor

    SPREAD: Baylor -30

    TOTAL: 53

I have a future out on Baylor to win the Big 12 (+499) and I am so glad they lost to BYU last week. They realize now they have to work their asses off every week if they are trying to make some noise and no better way to work the kinks out and get fired up for Big 12 play then having Texas State roll into town.

    My Play: Baylor -30

    2:00 PM EST (PAC12) – South Alabama @ UCLA

    SPREAD: UCLA -15.5

    Total: 59.5

Listen, all I know is this. I loved UCLA in Week 1 vs Bowling Green, which nearly was a disaster. The Bruins still came through and then went on to whoop up on Alcorn State. They now face a solid South Alabama team who will be a solid team in the Sun Belt… but UCLA and the PAC 12 talent will be too much.

    My Play: UCLA -15.5

    3:30 PM EST (ESPN2) Colorado @  Minnesota

    SPREAD: Minnesota -28

    TOTAL: 46.5

Colorado is so bad. So why not just play Minnesota spread? Because I do not want to throw my remote through the TV when Minnesota is up 40-6 and Colorado’s third string rushes in for his first career TD to back door cover.

    My Play: Over 46.5

4:00 PM EST (ESPNU) – Kansas @ Houston

    (Placed bet on Tuesday)

    MY SPREAD: Houston -10

    CURRENT SPREAD: Houston -8.5

    MY TOTAL: 56.5

    CURRENT TOTAL: 58

This could be my favorite game and play of the day for no reason other then the eye test. I played this on Tuesday and both lines shifted in my favor, which is always a great feeling. I refrained from betting Kansas-West Virginia last week because I was not fully sold on the hype yet. But rock chalk jayhawk, Kansas is no longer just a basketball school folks (although this match-up on the hardwood would be just as amazing). I love both of these teams and want to cheer for them the rest of the way, so this one would hurt if it misses.

My Play: Teaser of Over 50.5 / Kansas +16

5:00 PM EST (ACCN) – Liberty @ Wake Forest

    SPREAD: Wake Forest -17

    TOTAL: 63.5

I was at school early in the week looking at the slate and I came across this game. What I was looking at had the total at 56. I felt like I was looking at a winning lottery ticket with these explosive offenses. But I had no service without WiFi and I refuse to place a bet on the school WiFi, so I had to wait till I got home. When I get there I go to place the bet finally and the total is 63.5… 7.5 point jump in a span of a few hours? So I placed the bet anyways but I truly do not know what to think. I know there will be points and the over of 56 would have been the biggest bet I might have ever placed because what a steal. I don’t even know if that was a true thing, it being 56 points. But whatever the case may be, we are locked in now at 63.5.

    My Play: Over 63.5

7:00 PM EST (ESPN2) – Texas Tech @ NC State

    SPREAD: NC State -10

    Total: 56

Before the season started, my roommate and I started watching some spring ball to get the juices flowing and NC State was one of the first games we watched. I said this team might make us some money this year. There was so much hype for them coming into the season which I ate up and then got real sick after watching them piss away a cover against East Carolina Week 1. But they bounced back nicely by handling a Charleston Southern team the way they should have. Still, I was shocked by how big this spread is after Texas Tech’s overtime win against Houston, which is exactly why I am taking the Wolfpack to cover.

    My Play: NC State -10

10:30 PM EST (FOX) – Fresno State @ USC

    SPREAD: USC -12

    TOTAL: 72

I love USC here. (Also have a future on them to win the PAC 12 at +155) Depending on how well the day is going, I could be even more in love with USC at the end of the night. Everyone is drooling over Fresno’s Jake Haener, and he is fired up himself for a chance at his underdog story. The majority of this game will be close, I have already prepared myself for that. I have also prepared myself that I will be sleeping on the couch downstairs after this one concludes. But the Trojans are on a war path this year, and Lincoln Riley’s boys are ready to let the dogs out.

    My Play: USC -12
