New York Yankees (Schmidt) @ Tampa Bay Rays (Kluber)
    TB -1.5 (+175) –
The Rays put a beat down on the Yankees Friday winning in the Trop 9-0. The Yankees have not had a good second half, the New York bats have gone cold as of late and on Friday they lost Andrew Benintendi to a wrist injury. While there is no timetable set on Benintendi just yet, him being out of the lineup is a big loss for the Yankees as the season comes to a close. Cory Kluber is on the bump this evening for the Rays. Kluber has been good against New York this season, in 3 starts he has only allowed 3 runs over 18 innings of work. These two teams have been trending in opposite ways. While the Yankees have been struggling, they still lead the AL East by 5.5 games. The Rays have been winning games and will need to stay hot tonight to beat New York. Let’s take the Rays here to win again tonight -1.5 (+175).

Chicago Cubs (Smyly) @ St. Louis Cardinals (Wainwright)
    STL -1.5 (+108) –
The Cubs and Cardinals are set for game two of their series Saturday following the Cardinals 8-0 victory over the Cubs yesterday. Adam Wainwright will take the mound for the Cardinals, the veteran is 9-9 this and will be making his 27th start of the season. Drew Smyly will make his 19th start on the year for Chicago. Smyly is 5-7 this season for the Cubs and has an ERA at 3.24. The Cardinals have now won 4 straight at home and I believe they keep that streak alive tonight against the Cubs. Take St. Louis -1.5 (+108) to get the job done.
