Boston Red Sox (Wacha) @ Baltimore Orioles (Bradish)
BOS F5 3-way (-110) – Baltimore put a beating on Boston Friday night taking game 1 of the series 15-10. The Orioles and Red Sox can’t afford to lose many games if they want a crack at this year’s wildcard game. Before last night Baltimore had lost two games in a row and needed Friday night’s game which they showed driving in 15 runs. Boston on the other hand played well offensively Friday but, in a game, they desperately needed the pitching was brutal. The Red Sox have now given up 23 runs in consecutive losses. Michael Wacha will go for Boston today looking to get the Red Sox pitching back on track Saturday in Baltimore. Wacha has been really one of the only consistent starting pitchers the Red Sox have had this season and he gives them their best chance right now of slowing the Orioles down. In a must win for both teams today let’s roll with Wacha since he has been having the better season over Baltimore starter Kyle Bradish. Take Boston F5 3-way (+110).
Texas Rangers (Otto) @ Minnesota Twins (Archer)
MIN -1.5 (+128) – The Minnesota Twins will take on the Texas Rangers for game two of this series after the Twins won game one 2-1. Minnesota is a team fighting for a playoff berth and with a tonight they could find themselves back on top of the standings in the AL Central. Texas on the other hand is just playing out the season for their pride, after a huge offseason with some big-name signings like Marcus Semien and Cory Seager nothing worked out how Texas had hoped for resulting in the firing of first year manager Chris Woodward. I think the Twins have a big day today here looking to get back into the playoff picture and will take full advantage of this series they have with Texas. Roll with the Twins -1.5 (+128).
New York Mets (Peterson) @ Philadelphia Phillies (Falter) (Game 2)
NYM F5 3-way (+120) – The Mets and Phillies will play two games on Saturday against each other with a double header on the schedule. For New York they will look to pick up both wins here today for a 6-4 record in there last 10. As for Philadelphia they will be desperately looking for at least 1 win here in this double header as they have lost 5 of their last 8. Double headers are tricky because you could see teams use a ton of depth pieces not trying to overload guys with work all in one day. With that being said I do love the Mets here in the night cap because of the pitching matchup. David Peterson will be on the bump for the Mets and has been a machine for them on the road. Petersons 2-1 road record might not show it, but his ERA sits at 2.51 and has a WHIP of 1.09 while on the road. Let’s roll with Peterson for game 2, take the Mets F5 3-way (+120).
