Luis Patino will be on the rubber for Tampa Bay Saturday night, Patino has an ERA at 6.75 and will be looking to pick up his first win in just his fourth start this season. Brady Singer gets the ball for the Royals. Singer has made 12 starts this season posting a 4-3 record and an ERA at 4.14. Singer has had 3 straight quality outings; however, the Royals have been struggling at the plate as of late resulting in this four-game losing streak. Tampa Bay gets it done again tonight in KC on the road, expect the Rays to win behind a variety of arms and another big day at the plate. San Diego Padres (Snell) @ New York Mets (Bassitt)
SD ML (+125) – Yu Darvish was able to out pitch Mets star Max Scherzer Friday night as the Padres came away with the 4-1 victory in New York. Saturday left hander Blake Snell will be looking to do more of the same by shutting the Mets lineup down. Snell has not had the season one would have expected him to have, posting a 1-5 record and an ERA at 5.22. Snell will look for a clean start today against New York to get his season back on track. The Mets will send Chris Bassitt to the mound Saturday. Bassitt is 7-6 for the Mets and has an ERA at 3.79. The Padres are a team I love here in the second half, after a great start to the season the Padres had a lousy finish going 9-15 before the break falling 10 games back of the Dodgers. Expect San Diego to get streaky and Snell to have big confidence boost start Saturday in New York. Ride with the Padres at great odds of (+125) on the money line Saturday.
