Pittsburgh Pirates (Contreras) @ Cincinnati Reds (Minor)
CIN F5 (-112) & F5 O4.5 (-127) – The Pirates head to the Reds for a short day of baseball, we have ourselves a doubleheader. I expect to see many runs scored in this game, especially with this matchup. Contreras and Minor have a combined 44ER this season which is wild. I truly like the Reds here as they just played a competitive series against one of the hottest teams in baseball, the Mets. I’m also only taking game one of this doubleheader so I’ll be betting the Cincinnati Reds F5 (-112) and the F5 Over (-127).
St. Louis Cardinals (Liberatore) @ Atlanta Braves (Strider)
ATL -1.5 (-121) – The Cardinals and Braves wrap up their four-game series tonight as the Braves look to close them out with a clean sweep. The Braves are playing great ball on all sides of the field at the moment and they have a great chance at that sweep tonight with Strider on the mound. Strider has been lights out in his past two starts going 6 innings with only 1ER. He’s facing a struggling Cardinals offense that on paper should be much better. Strider has 37.7% K% which is among the best in the majors. I’m betting the Braves -1.5 (-121) to close out the Cardinals with a sweep.
Detroit Tigers (Brieske) @ Chicago White Sox (Cease)
CHW -1.5 (-114) – The Tigers head to the windy city to start a four-game series against the White Sox. The White Sox have owned the Tigers this year with a 5-1 record and I like them to build off that momentum here this evening. Dylan Cease is coming in with a 7-2 record and a nice 2.51 ERA. He last faced the Tigers in a 5-1 Win going 5 innings with 0ER. Their offense as we saw in the Twins series is hot and we here at WagerEdge like to ride the hot hand. I’m betting the CHW -1.5 (-114) for the game tonight.
