Cleveland Guardians (Bieber) @ Detroit Tigers (Pineda)
DET ML (+150) & DET +1.5 (-125) – The Tigers have been a different team since CF Riley Greene made his MLB debut on June 18th, receiving a much-needed injection of offense, that has translated to a 9-7 record since then. Before Greene was called up, the Tigers averaged 2.7 runs per game, and with him in the lineup they’ve improved to 5.1 runs per game. Greene is now the consensus top overall prospect according to MLB.com, having impressed early on with a .287 AVG, .384 OBP and .787 OPS. Detroit has won 4 of 6 since inserting Greene into the leadoff spot, and is seeking a 4-game sweep of the Guardians on Wednesday afternoon. I like the Tigers to complete the sweep at Comerica Park behind the big arm of Michael Pineda, and would take them both moneyline (+150) and runline (-125).

Toronto Blue Jays (Berrios) @ Oakland Athletics (Kaprielian)
TOR O4.5 (-125) & O8.5 (-107) – Toronto’s 384 runs scored ranks 2nd in the AL and 6th in the MLB, despite being in the midst of a 5-game losing streak. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be back in the 3-spot after coming off the bench yesterday, as the Blue Jays look to get back on track against the fifth starter in the A’s rotation. Both Jose Berrios and James Kaprielian have had their fair share of struggles this season with ERAs north of 5, and I’m projecting lots of runs in Oakland today. I’m much more confident in the Blue Jays scoring potential (4.5 runs) than the Athletics, but also like the over on the game total (8.5 runs).

Tampa Bay Rays (Kluber) @ Boston Red Sox (Bello)
BOS ML (-120), BOS O4.5 (-108) & TB U4.5 (-125) – Brayan Bello makes his highly anticipated MLB debut for the Red Sox, after dominating AA and AAA opponents and drawing lofty Pedro Martinez comparisons along the way. Bello features a fastball that approaches triple-digits, a deceptive change up, an above-average slider and a filthy sinker that comes in at 95-98 MPH. For the Rays, veteran Corey Kluber was tagged for 5 ER in just 3 innings of work last time out in Toronto, and now faces an arguably even more potent Red Sox lineup at Fenway. I like Boston to get the win today (-120) against a familiar AL East foe and and put enough runs on the board to hit their team over (4.5 runs).
